About Us
Pacific Outdoor Living Pro Division (formerly Pro Ponds West), a Southern California based distributor of Aquascape Designs products, was acquired by Terry Morrill and his sons, Trent and Chad, in October 2005. The Morrill family also owns California Waterscapes and Pacific Pavingstone, which has twice been included on Inc. Magazine's annual list of “America’s 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies” for two years, and is included on the current Inc. 5000 List.
For your convenience Pacific Outdoor Living Pro Division has two distribution centers and one retail store:
- Our distribution center located at our corporate headquarters in Sun Valley (Los Angeles County).
- Our original distribution center is in the city of Costa Mesa (Orange County).
- Our retail store s located in the city of La Crescenta (Los Angeles County).
The distribution centers are happy to serve you for all of your Aquascape Designs product needs.
A unique feature of the La Crescenta store is the Pacific Outdoor Living Pro Division “Design Center” showroom. It features several fully functional ponds and pondless waterfall displays in a beautiful garden setting. It is the perfect place to bring your customers so they can experience the “water garden lifestyle” in person. The store also sells Koi and other fish, beautiful aquatic plants, decorative outdoor furniture, disappearing garden fountains, and giftware.

Terry started Pacific Pavingstone with his son Trent in June 1999. They built the company on three basic principles: 1) Deliver a great product, 2) Never spend more than they make, and 3) Reinvest profits back into the company. With one crew, a beat up 1973 Chevy, and an assortment of tools, they started installing paving stone driveways and patios out of Terry's garage. Their great products and exceptional customer service brought about many referrals and soon they had more work than they could handle. To accommodate the demand, they moved into larger facilities, added more crews, and updated their equipment. |

In June, 2001, Terry's second son, Chad, joined them and started California Waterscapes. Using the same priciniples, he built that division into one of the largest pond and waterfall installers in the country. In fact, at the 2004 Inc 500 Awards, they were approached by Greg Wittstock, owner and founder of Aquascape Designs and fellow Inc 500 winner, to discuss how the two organizations could collaborate on future opportunities.
Out of those discussions the Morril's purchased Pro Ponds West, a Master Aquascape Designs Product Distributor, in October 2005. That company has now been renamed Pacific Outdoor Living Pro Division. Chad now runs Pacific Outdoor Living Pro Division, which has already hit the ground running by closing a product distribution deal with Armstrong Garden Centers, one of the largest nursery chains in California. In addition to selling Aquascape products, the garden centers wil also help feed business to their Pacific Pavingstone and California Waterscapes divisions. |
